Artificial Intelligence in Germany
After many successful years in the USA, the desire to return to Germany grew. Here, the concept of combining generic data structures with artificial intelligence to automate business processes was further developed. This led to the founding of elevait, a company that successfully solves the complex challenges of today through a wide range of digitalization projects using our own proprietary software products.
An employee-centered and appreciative corporate culture with an agile mindset
This has been the foundation of our collaboration since the company was founded. On this basis, our team has grown to more than 100 employees from 17 nations. Today, we possess the necessary expertise, impact, and agility to offer innovative, AI-based enterprise software—always at the cutting edge of research and available technology.
Our Origins in Silicon Valley
It all began in the mid-1990s with the work of our founder and CEO, Dr. Günther Möckesch, at SAP in Silicon Valley.
During this time, the innovative idea was born to develop novel, reusable data structures for business objects in enterprise software.

By 2015, a research and development team had formed in Dresden with our second founder, Dr. Martin Voigt, focusing specifically on projects in the fields of knowledge graphs and machine learning. This team of five employees forms the core of what is now elevait GmbH & Co. KG, which was founded in 2021.

As early as 2015, a research and development team formed in Dresden with our co-founder Martin Voigt, focusing specifically on projects in the fields of knowledge graphs and machine learning. This team of five employees is the core team of today's elevait GmbH & Co. KG, which was founded in 2021.

Innovation and Research as a Sustainable Driver
AIDED
As part of the IPCEI-CIS project, AIDED is developing a secure, decentralized cloud for the public sector to automate administrative tasks using AI, alleviate staff shortages, and ensure data protection. (Funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action)
Didymos
The development of innovative strategies for creating digital twins of existing road tunnels, along with the definition of clear information requirements.

HyBridGen
We are developing and testing a largely automated bridge generator. Using AI, engineering expertise, and specific constraints, the generator will create plausible designs during the early planning phases.
